Campgrounds

Crystal Springs: $10- single, $20- double, $8/extra vehicle/night. Location: 20 miles west of Cle Elum, exit 62 along I-90 on the south side. There are 25 camping sites and 10 picnicking sites for tent and trailer camping. There is a community kitchen, vault toilets, tables, stoves, and potable water.
Kachess*: $13- single, $26- double, $10/extra vehicle/night, $4 day use/boat launch fee for non-campers. Location: 5 miles off I-90 at exit 62, Forest Service Road #49. There are flush and vault toilets, piped water, stoves, tables, 1 primary boat launch and 1 unimproved boat launch, swimming area, and self-guided interpretive trail. There are 180 camping units (29 of those are double units, 42 are reservation units); 30 picnicking sites; and one group unit is available for reservation.
Wish Poosh: $12- single, $24- double, $10/extra vehicle/night, $3 day use/boat launch fee for non-campers. Location: 8 miles northwest of Cle Elum on Cle Elum Valley Road Hwy #903. There are 39 single and double camping units, 16 picnicking units, flush toilets, potable water, barbeque grills, paved boat launch, and swimming area.
Cle Elum River Campground*: $10- single, $20- double, $8/extra vehicle/night. Location: 15 miles north from Cle Elum along Hwy #903. There are 35 camping sites, vault toilets, piped water, tables, stoves, and reservable Group Camp area.
French Cabin Creek Dispersed Camping Fee Demonstration Area: $5 per vehicle per night fee, Northwest Forest Service Pass is required. Location: French Cabin Creek Road #4308, 16 miles from Cle Elum on Hwy #903.
Red Mountain: $7- single, $5/extra vehicle/night. Location: Cle Elum Balley Road #903, 16 miles north of Cle Elum. There are 9 camping sites, stoves, tables, vault toilet, no potable water.
Owhi: $7- single, $5/extra vehicle/night. Location: 5 miles off the Cle Elum Valley Road #903 above Cle Elum Lake at Cooper Lake. There are 22 walk-in camping sites, camper/trailer facilities not available. There are vault toilets, stoves, tables, boat launch, no motors on boats, and no potable water.
Salmon La Sac*: $13- single, $26- double, $10/extra vehicle/night. Location: at the end of the Cle Elum Valley Road #903, 25 miles north of Cle Elum. 127 camping sites (12 are double sites, 27 are reservation units), 50 picnicking sites, piped water, flush toilets, community kitchen, stoves, and tables.
Cayuse Horse Camp: $12- single, $10/extra vehicle/night. Location: at the end of Hwy #903 on the right hand side. There are 15 units, tables, stoves, flush toilets, piped water, hitching rails, public corrals and loading ramp.
Fish Lake (Tucquala Lake): Located near Tucquala Lake approximately 29 miles from Cle Elum. The road is paved to Salmon La Sac, Road #4330; the road beyond is not paved and is narrow and rough in places. There are vault toilets, tables, stoves, guard station, and no potable water. 15 camping or picnicking sites. No fee.
Beverly: $5 per vehicle, $5/extra vehicle/night. Location: on the North Fork Teanaway Road #9737, 25 miles north of Cle Elum. There are vault toilets, tables, fire grills, and no potable water. 16 camping sites.
De Roux: Northwest Forest Pass required: $5/day, $30/annual. 6 camp sites, parking for 8 vehicles. This is also a trailhead starting point with a vault toilet, tables, fire grills, and no potable water.
Mineral Springs*: $10- single, $20- double, $8/extra vehicle/night. Location: Hwy 97, 21 miles east of Cle Elum. There are vault toilets, tables, stoves, fire rings, potable water nearby, and a restaurant/lounge. 12 camping sites and a reservable group camping site.
Red Top: Northwest Forest Pass required: $5/day, $30/annual. Location: at the end of Road #9702 near Red Top Lookout, 28 miles east of Cle Elum. Pit toilets, tables, fire grills, parking lot for 20 cars, fire lookout, and no potable water. 3 camping or picnicking sites.
Swauk Creek: $8- single, $16- double, $6/extra vehicle/night. Location: Hwy 97, 27 miles east of Cle Elum. There are 23 camping sites, 22 picnicking, vault toilets, community kitchen, tables, stoves, fire rings, horseshoe pits, swings, trail, baseball backstop, and no potable water at this time.
Taneum: $10- single, $20- double, $8/extra vehicle/night. Location: on Taneum Road #33, 18 miles south of Cle Elum. There are 13 camping sites, 12 picnicking, vault toilets, tables, stoves, a community kitchen, potable water, and Taneum Guard Station rental.
Icewater Creek: $8- single, $16- double, $6/extra vehicle/night. Location: on Taneum Road #33, 20 miles south of Cle Elum. There are 17 camping sites, vault toilets, tables, stoves, drinking water, and a motorcycle practice trail.
Taneum Junction: Northwest Forest Pass required: $5/day, $30/annual. Location: on Taneum Road #33, 20 miles south of Cle Elum. There is a vault toilet, tables, and no potable water. There is a large group camping site with a capacity of about 15 vehicles.
South Fork Meadow: Northwest Forest Pass required: $5/day, $30/annual. Location: on South Fork Taneum Road #3300, 25 miles south of Cle Elum. There are 3 camping sites, vault toilet, tables, and no potable water.
Tamarak Spring: No Fee. Located on Forest Service Road #3120, 25 miles south of Cle Elum. There are 3 camping sites, pit toilet, table; stock water is available, and no potable water.
Manastash Camp: Northwest Forest Pass required: $5/day, $30/annual. Location: on Forest Service Road #3100, 25 miles west of Ellensburg. There is a vault toilet, graveled entry roads, parking areas for dispersed camping, campfire grills, and hitching posts and stock water opportunities will be developed in the future.
Riders Camp: Northwest Forest Pass required: $5/day, $30/annual. Location: on Forest Service Road #3100, 25 miles west of Ellensburg. There is a vault toilet, graveled entry road, and parking areas for dispersed camping.
Quartz Mountain: No Fee. Near the end of Road #3100, 33 miles west of Ellensburg. There is a pit toilet, tables, fire grills, and no potable water. 3 camping or picnicking sites.

* Select campsites at Kachess and Salmon La Sac campgrounds are available for reservation; reservations can be made by calling 1-877-444-6777 toll-free. Reservations need to be made at least 5 days in advance of the first night of stay, or as far as 240 days in advance. Reservations can also be made via the Internet at www.reserveusa.com. The majority of these campsites are first come, first serve. Group reservations are also available at Cle Elum River, Kachess, and Mineral Springs campgrounds; call the above number for reservations.
